She wants to believe the world glistens with the transcendent,
that every step we take falls on holy ground.

That's India Moon, a character in my newest novel, The Feast of Saint Bertie. But it could just as easily be me. All my life I've loved best the stories that point out the glimmers and intimations of love and wisdom and joy--not beyond the struggles and tragedies of the world we know but in the midst of them.

The things we've guessed at. The things we've all too often  missed. The things we have to have to look a little closer, feel a little deeper to see.

Do you like those kinds of stories? Then I invite you to read my novels, because I wrote them for you.
