 Tips for Writers:
I can never pass up anything that says "Tips for Writers." Are you the same way?

Then we understand each other.

I consider myself a novice, and I've lived in my skin long enough to know that's not likely to change. Especially when it comes to writing. I love good writing too much, and I’ve read too many of the best to ever think I know how this is done.

So don’t view me the way I view other writers. If they’ve been at it long enough to get good at what they do, I’m in awe. And if they’re one of the few, if they’re amazingly good, I’m given to boot-licking.

But there’ll be no boot-licking here. This is just us, and there’s nothing better than a visit between two who have set themselves to the task.

After a lifetime of wanting to write and wringing my hands, wondering if I ever would, if I ever should… after a lifetime of all that I finally did write a novel, and I did learn a few things. So I’ll share those with you here.

Now, go pour yourself a nice cup of coffee (or tea or whatever), come back, and we’ll talk.

I’ll start with something I wrote a couple years back, titled What I Really Think.  It’s on the philosophical side, I’ll warn you, but I’m giving it to you first because it still is what I really think.

Please come back later. There'll be more...
